Frame candles are classic, dipped candles. The
outer layer of colour is applied by hand dipping.
The candles are not coloured all the way through,
which results in much better burning. The candles
are available in a wide range of elegant colours.
They are also produced, in gold, silver, copper,
varnish and mother-of-pearl, on a water base of
course.
As the last layer of colour is hand-dipped, there
may be natural nuances of colour, which just
contribute to the character of the candles.
The candles are supplied in frames, which makes
it possible to present the candles elegantly -
perhaps together with other products, for example
wine. The frame also contributes to protecting the
candles so they do not become warped, and are
not jolted or broken.
